Hello, I’m Tomiko Hamada Taylor, I’m organizing the Peace In Concert.
This is the 7th year of this concert.
We have a very difficult time right now. Some musician friends were not able to perform. I hope our situation will change soon and we can meet each other and perform together.
There is a very good news. I’d like to thank to all the wonderful performers who have joined this project.
I’d like to mention a few special people who introduced me to wonderful musicians.
Dr. Daniel Kessner: He is a world renowned composer and flutist. Because of his kindness he introduced me to musicians from England and Germany.
Paul Anthony Romero: He is also a world renowned pianist and composer. He generously introduced me to musicians from Russia and Czech.
Ilja Mishchenkov; He is a young very active violinist and composer. He introduced me to more people from Russia and China.
Rachel Kamradt; she brought four musicians from different locations and using technology she made an ensemble performance.
We want musician friends from many countries and locations, and play for peace.
Because of all participants our goal is coming true. From China to California with the earth’s rotation we will be connected through music.
This concert will be February 6th at 3:00pm in each location.
I will introduce a performer per day until the concert day.
